An angry woman who chased a motorist with a baseball bat after her husband got into a scuffle with him has been spared jail.
Jasmine Hussain, 33, was filmed on a Dashcam chasing a man with a baseball bat after her husband became involved in a scuffle with him.
Footage of the incident which took place on August 24 went viral on social media, being viewed by over two million people.
Hussain pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon and threatening behaviour while her husband, Basharat Hussain, also 33, pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
The court heard the victim had agreed to sell his Volkswagen Golf to the couple and parked at the Santander bank in Dewsbury town centre.
The couple drove past the victim and parked up before Mr Hussain jumped out of the vehicle and ran towards the victim where they became involved in a scuffle.
Jasmine Hussain then leaped out of the car armed with a baseball bat as her husband squares up to the victim.
She then ran after the victim with the baseball bat held above her head while swinging wildly as the victim flees.
Mr Hussain kicked the victims car a number of times before his wife came back.
The court heard that an estimated £300 of damage was caused to the victims car but had since been paid for by Hussain.
Witnesses claimed the woman shouted to her boyfriend ‘nick the car, take it’ before getting back into her own vehicle.
Basharat Hussain was sentenced to a community order with 10 days of rehabilitative activities including six months of alcohol treatment.
His wife was sentenced to 146 days jail term suspended for a year and must complete a community order and both have to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
