The businessman has chosen to stay anonymous but is believed to be of Indian background and purchased the stunning property as a long-term investment.

The 13,000 square foot property includes six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a 55 foot infinity pool which over looks the sea, a cinema room and a 167 foot private beach with its own dock for a boat.

Zishan Khan, director of real estate firm Terra Casa, said: “The buyer wants to remain anonymous but is obviously a wealthy individual,” said Zishan Khan, director of Terra Casa Real Estate Brokers.

“What I can say is that he’s of Indian heritage and comes to Dubai once or twice a year.

‘We are seeing a trend of international investors buying properties for long-term investment or a second home.’

‘High-net-worth individuals from around the world are considering Dubai as a safe bet in terms of real estate and more and more people are choosing to become property owners,’ he added.

The millionaire buyer has also requested he receive the property as a shell so he can finish the interior design and decorations himself.
