Four teenagers have been jailed for torturing a 16 year old boy with a hot iron and then pouring lemon juice and salt over the wounds during the attack last October.
The victim was lured into a house in Werneth, Oldham, where he was tied up by the young gang with tape around his hands and mouth.
He was then tortured by the teens, who stripped him naked and punched and kicked him before cutting of his hair with scissors.
They continued to torture the defenseless young man by using a hot iron to burn him on his back and buttocks and then threw salt and lemon juice onto the burns.
They let the victim go after several hours of abuse and sexual assault.
Yesterday (July 7), four of the teenage abusers were jailed for a total of nineteen years while another teenager was given a 12 month supervision order.
Shohaib Khan, 17, from Oldham, was given a six and a half year sentence.
Sufyan Khan, 16, from Oldham, was jailed for four years after being accused of luring the victim to the house.
Adam Hussain, 16, from Oldham, was also jailed for four years.
Ahsan Khan, who is the youngest of the gang at only 15, was found guilty of blackmail, false imprisonment, ABH, theft, wounding with intent and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. He was handed down a 5 year sentence.
Detective Inspector Paul Walker said: “This was a sickening and prolonged attack on a young boy which left him so shaken and terrified that he didn’t even want to tell his parents what had happened.
“The emotional scars from this shocking attack will haunt him for the rest of his life and I could not even begin to imagine the agony and suffering that he endured.
“Thankfully, his attackers have now been sentenced but this can never fully repair the damage that this barbaric incident has done.
