Adam Hussain finally lost control of the BMW 3 Series after careering into railings, sending two wheels off the ground as the vehicle came to a stop.
Having narrowly escaped fatal injury, Hussain and pals can be seen scattering from the scene and the footage even shows a woman emerge from the car and pull down her dress so she can run off in the opposite direction.
After his arrest police showed Hussain the footage and he claimed he could not remember because he was ‘stupid drunk’ at the time.
The court heard how he reached speeds of over 100mph in a 30mph zone, drove on the wrong side of the road and even went through red lights at 60mph while his passengers threw items out of the window.
Recorder Philip Curran said: “You were determined to try and get away from the police, either because you were over the limit, or because you were trying to protect some of the people in the car busy discarding items” and that it was a ‘matter of chance’ that he did not hit anyone.
Hussain, 19, from Bolton, admitted dangerous driving and has now been jailed for six months and disqualified from driving for two years and three months.
