Millionaire Aleem Iqbal, from Solihull, has taken delivery of his new car and has already caused a stir in a viral video released yesterday in which he can be seen arguing with a police officer.
The car itself, a stunning £350,000 Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster, with his name emblazoned on the bonnet and door, topped off with the number plate 41EEM.
In the video, Aleem could be heard arguing with a police officer after being stopped for checks. He can be heard saying ‘I tell you what, I got a GPS tracker in the car, if I’ve gone over the speed limit you can take the car off me’ and then dares the officer by saying ‘put your money where your mouth is’.
He posted pictures of the head turning Lamborghini on his social media pages and twitter where he has over 66,000 followers.
He also posted a video on his social media account expressing his delight for his new car, saying: “Excited for my new car!”
Another picture showed him standing by the supercar with the registration plate ’41EEM’, with the caption: “Lost for words.”
The Self styled ‘Lord Aleem’ was in the headlines a number of times last year when one of his Ferrari’s which he had hired out to a newly wed couple was crashed into a wall in Burnley, lancashire. On another occasion one of his cars was firebombed outside a house in Luton.
In 2014 more than £500,000-worth of supercars were destroyed in two suspected arson attacks at his family-run Yardley business, Platinum Executive Travel, in what Aleem described as ‘jealousy’.
He also hit the headlines when he announced his plans to audition on for the BBC show Top Gear, along with Chris Evans. It later emerged that he was not selected.
