Zubair Parvez, a married dad-of-one, has been jailed for five years after being found guilty at Manchester Crown Court for sexual assault on two teenage university students.
He barged into the rooms of teenage university students before assaulting them.
His first victim managed to fight him off after he barged into her room at her university accommodation in Manchester in the early hours and pinned her to the bed sexually assaulting her.
After being punched and kicked by the victim he went to another room of an 18 year old who woke up to find him lying on top of her laughing, her neck was covered in love bites.
He denied the charges with his defence claiming the girls were drunk and unreliable.
But the jury found him guilty on both charges and he was given a five years custodial sentence.
The first victim described her ordeal in court saying: ‘I was shouting at him to leave and he wouldn’t… he was trying to kiss me and stuff.’
“He put his hand on my shoulder and pushed me back so I was lay on my bed. I’m panicking and screaming…I was kicking him and trying to push him off. (Now) I lock myself in my room…if I turn the light out I can see him there.”
He then punched the door in anger and threatened the victim saying he would punch her but instead stormed out the room.
It was only later that morning that the first victim found out that her friend had also been attacked by the same person.
She said: “(The other victim) was crying her eyes out – she said to me she woke up and there’s a guy next to her, she explained what the guy looks like and it’s the same guy that came into my room.”
The second victim described waking up to find him in her bed in graphic terms.
‘I was lying down and I woke up and he was just over the top of me. I just remember him being above me – his face was like…there.’
She went on: ‘I was just confused, I said something to him…I just remember him laughing.’
