Reports of an 11-year-old boy found dead by his mother at his home after being bullied in school

Police have attended an incident in the Whetley Hill area of Bradford earlier this evening after reports of a young boy being found dead at his home.


Officers could be seen standing outside an address after an 11-year-old boy is believed to have committed suicide.

According to friends of the boy’s family, the young child had returned home from school and told his mother that he didn’t like school and was being picked on.

His mother later found his body after the young boy would did not respond to her calling him downstairs.

The reports have yet to be confirmed by West Yorkshire Police but family members have confirmed that an 11-year-old boy was found dead at the scene.

Tonight, a crime scene investigation vehicle could be seen parked outside a three-storey house next to the Jamia Masjid mosque.
