A gang of schoolboys launched a racist attack on an Asian boy and uploaded the video (below) on twitter with the caption Smash A P*ki.

The shocking video shows the young Asian lad being subjected to the racial attack while other boys look on.

He is punched several times before falling to the floor and then kicked in the head.

Two boys then rain down blows to the victim as he tries to protect his head.

As he tries to escape he can be heard pleaded for the attackers to “Leave me, please, please, please.”

During the racist attack one boy can be heard saying: “That’s shan” (Edinburgh slang for “wrong”).

But another replies: “No it’s no’. It’s funny as f***.”

The victim was later taken to hospital for minor injuries.

Two boys have been charged by cops who are treating the incident in Edinburgh as a hate crime.

Police said: Officers in Edinburgh investigated an assault in the East Craigs area which took place on Tuesday, September 13.

“A 13-year-old boy attended Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.

“Two boys, both 13, were charged in connection with this. Inquiries are ongoing in relation to a social media post connected to this incident.

“Officers remain committed to thoroughly investigating any and all reports of hate crime.”

Foysol Choudhury, chairman of Edinburgh and Lothians Regional Equality Council, said: “We strongly condemns this vicious and vile attack crime and would like to convey our sympathy to the victim.”
